Our Mandate

Built to Solve a Specific Problem

The South African commercial property sector is facing an unprecedented utility crisis. While the energy transition is well underway, the impending water infrastructure deficit poses a far more complex and existential threat to asset valuations and operational continuity.

AquaAfrica Water Systems was established to solve this mandate. We deploy private capital and world-class engineering to build distributed, resilient water networks that protect commercial real estate from municipal failure.

Homeowners come to us for different reasons — outages, restrictions, pressure problems, rising tariffs, water they would rather not drink. The common thread is a supply they cannot rely on and cannot control. We fund, drill and install a complete borehole system on the property and run it as a private utility: the house comes off municipal supply and onto water we manage, at a fixed monthly rate. We own and maintain the infrastructure, so there is nothing to service, replace or think about.

Institutional Credibility

Infrastructure Operators, Not Contractors

We are not a contractor. We are an infrastructure operator. Our team comprises utility engineers, structured finance experts, and property veterans who understand that water must be managed as a core financial and operational asset.

Our Team

The people behind the water

We drill it, we own it, we run it. Same team, start to finish.
